Queer Celebration
On Sunday, March 30, there will be a special queer celebration. Under the theme ‘Woven Together’ we celebrate diversity by focusing on the art of quilting. Quilting is a traditional art form within the Mennonite (Doopsgezind) and Amish communities. What inspiration does this social act offers queers?
This queer celebration is for everyone, regardless religion, to come together, celebrate our diversity and experience fellowship. We invite you to come as you are. Friends and partners are welcome!
Organisation of this celebration: Eeuwe Zijlstra (musician), Jildou de Jong, Nick Everts (Mennonite pastor) and the duo ‘DuoDulcimo’ (piano and singer). All are part of or involved in the queer community.
